Management crises, endless lines, collapsing public services\u2014all of this serves, in Brazil, as justification for creating <strong>new structures<\/strong>, <strong>new positions<\/strong> and <strong>new expenses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The official explanation? \u201cMore investment is needed.\u201d<br>The truth? It&#039;s just more <strong>institutionalized bureaucracy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The State that fails and rewards itself<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One ministry doesn&#039;t solve the problem? Create another.<br>Is a secretary holding everything back? Promote the manager.<br>Is the INSS waiting list doubling? Appoint another commissioner.<br>This is how the logic of those who <strong>does not have to deal with the costs of one&#039;s own decisions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the private sector, the rule is clear: if you don&#039;t deliver, you lose the customer.<br>In the public sector, if you don&#039;t deliver, you get a bigger budget the following year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The politics of appearance: structure over results<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Brazil today has more than <strong>600,000 commissioned positions in all spheres<\/strong>, a state structure worthy of a superpower \u2014 but with the service of a bankrupt republic.<br>Leaking hospitals, schools with teacher shortages, overworked staff. And, at the same time, <strong>secretariats with soap opera names and directorates with undefined functions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The truth is simple: the growth of the public sector has nothing to do with the well-being of the population\u2014it has to do with maintaining power, favors, and privileges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udfaf <strong>When the machine is the end, not the means<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The State should be a means of guaranteeing justice, security, and freedom. But in Brazil, it has become a <strong>end in itself<\/strong> \u2014 an autonomous organism that grows, reproduces, and protects itself, even when it fails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And who pays the bill?<br>You, who work outside the bubble.<br>You, who need public service \u2014 but not public politicking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udce2 It&#039;s not enough to cut spending \u2014 we need to eliminate the logic of government rewards for inefficiency.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read, share and help dismantle this machine.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mesmo sem entregar resultados, o Estado brasileiro continua crescendo: mais minist\u00e9rios, mais cargos, mais or\u00e7amento.
